Oribi Flats #NaturalTourism

Oribi Flats
Location of Oribi Flats in South Africa.

Situated 20 kilometres outside Port Shepstone in KwaZulu Natal this small rural town is nestled quietly
between the hills and the sub-tropical forest- that the province on the East Coast has to offer.

Oribi Flats- named after the sprightly little antelope that witnessed the first people to make use of the fertile plateau (Norwegians) at the end of the 19th century has become known for combining natural resources and adventure sports to the perfect extend. This rural area can surely be seen as a great example of unspoiled natural beauty and should be a visiting point for every nature-lover and extreme-sport fan at heart.
Oribi Flats also plays home to the Oribi Gorge Nature Reserve. This reserve has leopard, baboons, small antelope and spectacular bird species including the Fisherman’s eagle to offer. The reserve also has breath taking camera points that will please ever photographer’s wildest imaginations.
